“I fell heavily in the garden on my right knee while planting trees. My knee swelled, and the doctor diagnosed a lateral misplacement of the patella (knee cap). He prescribed physiotherapy treatment, which I undertook for six months until I was totally free of pain, and could run again.

Feeling good about my recovery I began attending yoga classes again, but to my dismay the pain in my knee returned. I stopped yoga and began physiotherapy treatment and exercises again. A close friend of mine died tragically and he was a well known person. The funeral was very large and moving. His wife was very upset with grief; I was able to speak with her and offered some information I had learnt where she could ease her grief.
